I plan to open a record shop in the future, specializing in underground music and extreme metal. I'd also like to have a stage inside the building, along with a pub, so bands could perform and people would be able to come and have a beer while watching.
It's possible to turn a profit from underground music, or at least have the business pay for itself, especially if I open it in San Francisco like I plan to do.
To start with though, I'm going to run a mail order distro service, then if I have enough money, I'll get a physical location and still maintain an online shop as well.
Alcohol I would run a wine & spirit specialist store (also selling beers from around the world and a few snacks). I'm from the wine industry so I already have experience in this and found it to be a great laugh and loads of fun. I'll go back to that industry when I return to work when Abbie is older.
I'd have trained, dedicated staff with a minimum of a diploma with the wine and spirit trust and everyone would have a relaxed and social attitude so as to provide a friendly yet informed excellent service with an international delivery service
